Technology

The core technology for tracking the progress of assays is a disposable sensor, manufactured using the tried and trusted approach of thick film printing.  This approach enables true scalability with batches of a hundred to over a million identical sensors per shift.

The sensor, is an efficient multi-beam resonator which provides outstanding performance in blood, media and water samples. Our optimised geometries afford a very high sensitivity to surface interactions, sample viscosity, viscoelasticity and density.

The technology is patent pending with 4 applications, 2 of which are world-wide.

Simple, low-cost electronics are employed to provide a real-time and quantitative output.

The current equipment is capable of driving 8 independent devices, however up to 128 devices can be driven simultaneously.

The platform supersedes the use of optics in disposable diagnostics.
